One of the largest cities in the country, Freiburg is popular among fans of excursions and those interested in history. Its main attraction is the scenic Freiburg Cathedral, whose construction has begun in the 13th century. The official opening of the cathedral took place only 300 years later. It has miraculously managed to survive during the Second World War. The height of the main tower of the Cathedral is 116 meters. Many experts in ancient architecture agree that it is one of the most beautiful towers in the world.
Another interesting architectural object is the historic trading house built in the second half of the 14th century. The beautiful building with a bright red facade served as the venue for a variety of customs operations. During its long history, the building's appearance has changed significantly. In 1988 the large-scale reconstruction of the building was held; then the ancient coat of arms was engraved on the facade.
