Nice CĂ´te d'Azur International Airport is located 6 km from Nice in the Alpes-Maritimes department of France. It is the third busiest airport in France. The international airport is a main transport hub for those tourists who want to travel to CĂ´te d'Azur. Also, the airport is widely used by passengers traveling to the Principality of Monaco that is located in the vicinity of the airport. There are two air-strips and two helicopter pads. Passengers are serviced in two terminals. There is also a cargo terminal. Every year, the airport services over 14 million passengers.
Passenger terminals and the parking area are served by free shuttle transfers. From the airport, you can reach railway stations Gare de Nice-Ville and Nice Riquier by bus (#99 and #98 correspondingly). The railway station Saint-Augustin is located within walking distance from the airport. You can travel to the city center or its western part (Magnan) by tram (#2). At the airport, you can catch an international bus. There is also a certified taxi service. Taxi ranks are located near the gate A1 (terminal 1) and A3 (terminal 2).
