For almost a hundred years of operating, the museum has collected tens of thousands of exhibits, including beautiful models of old aircraft, rare aviation equipment and exhibits belonging to the periods of the First and Second World Wars. Much of the exhibits are presented in the open air, visitors can see models of the most famous and legendary aircraft in the world. In total, the museum's collection has more than 120,000 exhibits, more than 180 aircraft of various characteristics.
It is very convenient to explore the town's attractions on foot. On one of the central streets, you can see the beautiful church Église Saint-Nicolas erected in the first half of the 18th century. Over the course of numerous military battles, the church was destroyed several times but still retained its unique historical charm. It is noteworthy that it was built on the foundation of an older temple, which was located in this place in the 15th century.
The latest major reconstruction of the church took place at the end of the 19th century when it was restored after the Franco-Prussian war. During this period, it was decided to decorate the church with D. Berges' thematic paintings on military themes, which can be seen here even today.
