Searching for open roof cars

Preset configuration of the white form above - search for an exotic car or a cabriolet at 'Antibes'. Address: 26 Boulevard Foch, Antibes, France.

In Antibes, we provide vehicles at 4 different rental locations. Cars with a folding roof are rather of a rare type, so they are mostly offered in airports and railway stations.

We advise booking a cabriolet in France in advance (several weeks or even several months prior to your trip), since the availability of convertibles in our car park is quite limited.

Antibes, France: cabriolet rental hints
The most widespread cabriolet models offered for rent in France are: BMW 3 series Cabriolet, Peugeot 206 Cabriolet, Renault Megane Cabriolet, Audi A3 Convertible, Audi A4 Convertible and BMW Z4 Roadster.

At the booking time, please check the rental conditions carefully. Quite often, rental offices in Antibes require two credit cards to guarantee issuance of a cabrio or a roadster.

We recommend ordering additional no-excess insurance that covers your risk (franchise), since the franchise amount for cabriolets in France is quite high.

Make sure to inspect the rental invoice issued at the office in Antibes and compare it with the information indicated in your voucher. Sometimes, rental officers make 'unintentional' mistakes in rental invoices.

In parking garage, examine the vehicle for defects and scratches carefully. If you find any of them, check whether they have been specified in your rental document.

When parking a cabriolet in Antibes, it is recommended to unfold the roof and close windows in order to prevent theft or robbery.

OrangeSmile.com wishes you an exciting journey with an open roof around France!

Driving Advices for France – Traffic Regulations and Road Usage Peculiarities
Previous hints
As the fastest roads in the country are toll roads, their speed limit is usually 130 km/h. The speeding of 20-40 km/h is likely to result in a large fine.
A large part of country roads in France is paid. It very simple to distinguish them – they are marked with blue on the map. It should be noted that toll roads are distinguished by a very good quality of the asphalt. National roads are marked with green on maps, and all other routes are marked with white.
All toll road exits have their own unique number, so there is nothing difficult in orienting in them. In case you miss an exit, keep moving patiently to the next one – there will surely be a turning. Once you make a turn, simply follow the signs that will guide you how to drive back to the road.

Enjoying sights of Antibes in cabriolet
Among the religious monuments, Cathedrale Notre Dame de la Platea is one you cannot miss. This is the main cathedral of the city. Despite this fact, the cathedral is far from tourist routes, and stands out not for its magnitude, but for its sophistication and elegance. At first glance though, it seems simple – but this is only a first impression. On entering inside, you can understand that it is elegant in every detail. Another monument of sacred architecture, Notre-Dame de Bon Port, is famous for the fact that beautiful views of the sea, as well as Antibes and its surroundings, open up from here. You can pray here for the sailors, who also present gifts to the Mother of God to grant them safe and sound return home.

There are fortifications in Antibes, too. We are referring to Fort Carré which is built on the ledge of a rock. It has a star shape, and the time of its construction dates back to the 16th century. The fort is notable for being perfectly preserved, as well as for the fact that some scenes from the James Bond movie, “Never say never” starring Sean Connery, were filmed here. On the way, you should take notice of the monument to a soldier of the First World War. Another military facility designed to protect the city is Bastion Saint Jaume. Located in the main port of the billionaires’ bay, you will also find here an interesting sculpture of Le Nomade – a gazebo in the form of a sitting man made of interlaced iron threads. The views from here are stunning: on the one hand, the sea and on the other hand, the Old Town. As a poet would say, what a beauty!!!
