Driving Advices for Czechia – Traffic Regulations and Road Usage Peculiarities
Previous hints
In large cities, there are often traffic jams from 8:00 to 10:00 and from 17:00 to 19:00. Many foreign drivers do not notice the «TRAM», «TAXI» and «BUS» signs when they drive in heavy traffic on the road. However, these signs indicate special lanes for trams, taxis and buses, and drivers are not permitted to occupy these lanes.
Drivers in the Czech Republic are distinguished by politeness. They treat other motorists with respect. If you see the car blinking with its lower beams, it means that it gives way to other road users. In this country such a behavior is considered a norm.
Pedestrians are also treated with great care and respect. When reaching an unregulated crossroads, make sure to slow down, and if there are people nearby, you need to stop completely.

Enjoying sights of Prague in cabriolet
Prague can surprise every tourist with its non-stop life. This city, which is also the capital of the country, is one of the most favorite European destinations for tourists. Prague becomes especially beautiful and interesting during the holidays. Local customs and traditions attract travelers from all around the world and festivals that take place almost every month here. Some of them are small and big, other - funny and serious. But every traveler will be able to find something to own liking. The most favorite season for the vacation among tourists is the Christmas and New Year holidays. During this time, Prague looks like a shining kingdom of lights, garlands hanging at every corner and Christmas fairs will also work for you. Here you will find huge rows with wonderfully painted gingerbread, magical Christmas trees, handmade toys, delicious sweets and fragrant mulled wine. Try to find here the famous Bohemian glass, which is something absolutely fabulous. On the square in the Old Town, you will find the main Christmas tree.

If you happened to be in Prague in February, then you are lucky to enjoy two amazing events held during this month. The first one starts on February 18 and lasts for more than a week. This is the glorious Prague Carnival, during which barmen, baristas prepare only Brazilian cocktails. The event starts with a colorful parade of allegorical cars, sexy dancers, jugglers, and drummers. In the noise of the festival, everyone can participate - you can play on portable drums, percussion or anything that only wags into your head, you can come here to even dance and sing. When walking with the crowd through the streets, you will feel some special holiday atmosphere, even if the scope of the carnival is not so great as at the Brazilian Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, but under the good weather, the crowd is organized into a fun holiday that should not be missed. If you do not like such processions, you can come to the party at the final destination - Smichov beach.
