Beijing, China: cabriolet rental hints
The most widespread cabriolet models offered for rent in China are: BMW 3 series Cabriolet, Peugeot 206 Cabriolet, Renault Megane Cabriolet and Ford Mustang Convertible.

At the booking time, please check the rental conditions carefully. Quite often, rental offices in Beijing require two credit cards to guarantee issuance of a cabrio or a roadster.

We recommend ordering additional no-excess insurance that covers your risk (franchise), since the franchise amount for cabriolets in China is quite high.

Make sure to inspect the rental invoice issued at the office in Beijing and compare it with the information indicated in your voucher. Sometimes, rental officers make 'unintentional' mistakes in rental invoices.

In parking garage, examine the vehicle for defects and scratches carefully. If you find any of them, check whether they have been specified in your rental document.

When parking a cabriolet in Beijing, it is recommended to unfold the roof and close windows in order to prevent theft or robbery. wishes you an exciting journey with an open roof around China!

Driving Advices for China – Traffic Regulations and Road Usage Peculiarities
Previous hints
The excess of speed of 10 - 20 km/h on local roads is absolutely common. Not all roads are equipped with cameras and radars, and this fact is widely used by Chinese drivers who seem to be always in a hurry. The presence of cameras is usually marked with special road signs, and this fact also makes it easier to break the rules. Speeding fines are rather big though. If you exceed the speed by just 20 km/h, you may be forced to pay a fine of 2,000 Yuan.
When it comes to describing the general state of roads in the country, it can be safely called quite satisfactory. Looking at local roads, you will see a very interesting contrast - modern highways with high quality surface are often located close to old roads, where it is dangerous to drive at a speed of just 20 km/h.
The contrast is best seen on national roads, the main distinguishing feature of which is their length. Some national roads are high quality highways, on which it is possible to drive comfortably at a speed of 110 km/h, while other national roads do not even have the asphalt surface.

Enjoying sights of Beijing in cabriolet
In Beijing, travellers with children will find numerous amusement parks, modern cinemas and shopping malls. They can walk in beautiful parks or attend interesting museums. Happy Valley Park remains one of the most popular and widely visited destinations for travellers with kids. This park is also famous under an unofficial name “Chinese Disneyland”. This large amusement park is divided into several thematic zones, each of which has interesting rides, attractions and recreation areas. Rollercoasters remain the biggest attraction of the park. Don’t forget to visit the Theatre of Masks – a very unusual place that one can hardly find in any other amusement park.

Shijingshan Amusement Park is a no less wonderful place where one can easily spend several days. The youngest visitors of the park will enjoy a visit to Cinderella Castle and to a large pirate boat. Teenagers and adults will like an opportunity to make a ride on a ferris wheel and to walk in mysterious Mayan labyrinths. There are approximately 40 different rides and attractions in the park. During the peak season, various interesting performances and animation programs often take place there.
