Searching for open roof cars

Preset configuration of the white form above - search for an exotic car or a cabriolet at 'Beijing - Peking International Airport'. Address: Liangmaqiao 50, Beijing, 100016, China.

In Beijing, we provide vehicles at 16 different rental locations. Cars with a folding roof are rather of a rare type, so they are mostly offered in airports and railway stations.

We advise booking a cabriolet in China in advance (several weeks or even several months prior to your trip), since the availability of convertibles in our car park is quite limited.

Beijing, China: cabriolet rental hints
The most widespread cabriolet models offered for rent in China are: BMW 3 series Cabriolet, Peugeot 206 Cabriolet, Renault Megane Cabriolet and Ford Mustang Convertible.

At the booking time, please check the rental conditions carefully. Quite often, rental offices in Beijing require two credit cards to guarantee issuance of a cabrio or a roadster.

We recommend ordering additional no-excess insurance that covers your risk (franchise), since the franchise amount for cabriolets in China is quite high.

Make sure to inspect the rental invoice issued at the office in Beijing and compare it with the information indicated in your voucher. Sometimes, rental officers make 'unintentional' mistakes in rental invoices.

In parking garage, examine the vehicle for defects and scratches carefully. If you find any of them, check whether they have been specified in your rental document.

When parking a cabriolet in Beijing, it is recommended to unfold the roof and close windows in order to prevent theft or robbery.

OrangeSmile.com wishes you an exciting journey with an open roof around China!

Driving Advices for China – Traffic Regulations and Road Usage Peculiarities
Previous hints
The excess of speed of 10 - 20 km/h on local roads is absolutely common. Not all roads are equipped with cameras and radars, and this fact is widely used by Chinese drivers who seem to be always in a hurry. The presence of cameras is usually marked with special road signs, and this fact also makes it easier to break the rules. Speeding fines are rather big though. If you exceed the speed by just 20 km/h, you may be forced to pay a fine of 2,000 Yuan.
When it comes to describing the general state of roads in the country, it can be safely called quite satisfactory. Looking at local roads, you will see a very interesting contrast - modern highways with high quality surface are often located close to old roads, where it is dangerous to drive at a speed of just 20 km/h.
The contrast is best seen on national roads, the main distinguishing feature of which is their length. Some national roads are high quality highways, on which it is possible to drive comfortably at a speed of 110 km/h, while other national roads do not even have the asphalt surface.

Rental, parking and other info on Beijing - Peking International Airport
Beijing International Airport is the main airport in China. It is the second airport in the number of passengers in the world. Every year, it serves over 96 million passengers and a lot of cargo flights. The airport was opened in the late 60s. It is 20 km from the capital. At the airport, there are three air-strips and three terminals. The impressive size of the Terminal 3 and its remoteness from other terminals have made it a separate unit with its own infrastructure. The 3rd terminal is divided into several satellites (C, D, E). T1 serves only domestic flights; T2 and T3 serve both domestic and international flights. At the airport, the inter-terminal train and shuttles run between terminals and their satellites.

The airport is linked with the city by the freeway. The transport center offers various kinds of transport at the airport: taxi, buses, and private cars. The transport center in T3 is linked with the underground station by the crossing. The metro line runs to the center of Beijing (through T2 and T3). Public buses run to different parts of the city, as well as to the countryside. You can take a taxi near each terminal. Read all...
