The town of Beverly Hills is an important tourist attraction, as it is considered one of the most magnificent cities in the world. In the northern part of California there is an important historical site, Fort Ross. The wooden fortress was built in the early 19th century and was home to the Russian settlement. The only building has survived to the present day in an unchanged form; it is the Rotchev House or Commandant’s House. All other facilities were rebuilt by architects.
