The main spot of tourist interest in the city is the Niagara Fall being a unique natural landmark which is currently well known in every nook of the globe. The suburbs of the water fall are equipped with observation platforms and terraces open for tourists to enjoy the sight of the grand natural water creation. The most famous observation platform is considered to be the Table Rock. A few centuries ago there was a huge flat stone considered to be a sacred place by the Indians where they held different rituals.
In the course of time the natural platform got destroyed. A few years ago the last stone was moved away to avoid rock-fall. On the place of the former natural platform a new artificial platform was created which by its look fully resembles the initial one, however it is safe and sound for visitors. Another symbol of the city is the so called Rainbow Bridge. The bridge is constructed over the water fall and joins the American and Canadian parts of the city.
Apart from world renowned natural landmarks and sights of the city, Niagara is rich in cultural objects and spots as well. The Mackenzie Heritage Printery Museum is a must visit destination for tourists. The museum keeps an original collection of private things of the politician. A part of the museum is taken by the library and the exposition of antique furniture. The city also offers the tourists to visit ancient architectural landmarks and sights among which one will find the Fort George and the Fort Erie.
