West End is considered the historic district of the city. Its territory is home to a few dozen buildings constructed in the end of the 19th century. Many historic buildings have been converted into museums and galleries. As a rule, excursion programs in Dallas include visits to Deep Ellum district as this is the location of Lakewood Theater. Park City is considered the favorite vacation spot of both locals and visitors. One of the main shopping streets starts right behind the park. Move north from the central area of Dallas, and you will reach the so-called "Arts District". The name of the quarter has appeared thanks to a huge choice of various cultural institutions and museums located here. Here you will find Meyerson Symphony Center, Theatre Center and Nasher Sculpture Center.
