Malmo is not only an important port, but also the third largest city in Sweden, which is located on the south of the country in the picturesque region of Scania. Malmo is the capital of the region. Modern Malmo still keeps several reminders of the period of the Denmark governing. The ancient architecture of the city traditionally attracts many tourists. You can feel this specific beauty of Malmo while visiting ancient churches and the cathedrals, for example, the magnificent Gothic church of St. Petrichyurka built in XIV century in accordance with the design of the Church of St. Mary in Lübeck.
