This Spanish island simply strikes its visitors by the number of sites and places of interest. Among them you will find old buildings and modern cultural centers, as well as breathtaking natural reserves.
Teide Volcano is the main sight of the resort. The name of the city has come from the name of volcano. It can be literally translated as "Snow Mountain" because early settlers called the town after they had seen a unique view of snow-covered peaks of Teide. The piedmont area is the location of National Park Las Ca?adas del Teide. The landscape here reminds of scenes from the movie about Moon – you will see same weathered rocks and lava flows. Only amazing plants give this area the "Earth" look.
