Another remarkable cultural establishment is the Museo Municipal de San Telmo which is housed in a historical building of inimitable beauty executed in the Renaissance style. The museum keeps a collection of items giving its visitors a deep insight into the history and culture of Basque. One of the most interesting halls of the museum is located in the basement.
