Fuerteventura is surely rich in architectural attractions. During the Second World War the island was a location of a secret base of German troops. Here were moored submarines, and many important military decisions have been also made here. The famous German design engineer Gustav Winter was sent to this island. Nowadays tourists can see numerous secret development plans, drawings and scale models of submarines in his villa. Returning to the theme of beach rest, it is surely worth mentioning Sotavento and Kofete coasts. These are the most picturesque beaches of the island. Here you will find numerous restaurants, sports equipment rentals, and cozy cafes.
