Malaga is a picturesque and lively town located in Andalusia. This city is also the capital of Costa del Sol province. The center of the city carefully keeps the ruins of the ancient theater that have been here since the reign of the Romans. Near these ruins is located the Roman bastion - the palace Alcazaba built in the XI century. This complex includes a castle with beautiful flowers, palm trees and fountains surrounded by high stone walls that simply turn this palace into a maze. There is a passage that connects the palace with the fortress, so by walking in it visitors can reach famous Gibralfaro fort. The name of the port means "lighthouse on the cliff."

Plaza de la Merced Square is one of the most famous and widely visited places of Malaga. The square has become popular because of the great world-genius painter Pablo Picasso – his home is located there. One more attraction of this place is a monument dedicated to General Torrijos. In 2003 the Picasso Museum was formally established in the palace of Buenavista graphs by order of the King of Spain. Today the museum exhibits more than 200 of his works. Both government and inhabitants of Malaga pay much attention to flora and fauna of the region, as well as to the restoration of nature, so in this city you will find the only Maritime Aula del Mar Museum that exhibits a collection of more than 500 representatives of flora and fauna from the Alboran Sea.
