The Turkish war was over, but there still were conflicts in Bucharest. It was on fire in 1595, then Bucharest got in the midst of the war between Russia, Austria and Ottomans. During the conflict the city was ruined by the occupants and it's terrible condition lasted till 1862. That was the year when Bucharest finally became the capitol of the country.
