Palanga is located along the Baltic Sea coast and a great number of parks, cafes and simply residence houses can boast of the marvelous view on the sea. Every year from May to September thousands of tourists come to this sunniest city in the country to spend their vacations.
One of the quietest places in Palanga is the Botanical Garden, projected by E. Andre and B. de Colonne. There one can have a look at the rich collection of more than 300 various species of plants. The natives find it the most attractive place in the city.
You should also visit the Amber Museum (it's situated in the Tsikevicius Manor House). There with the help of amber exposition they tell us about the 40million-year history of the city.
