During the Carnival, vacationers can not only participate in various recreational activities, but also enjoy the main festive meal, potato dumplings.

Treats are handed out to passers-by at all busy city streets; this is a very old tradition. In the 16th century, severe famine stroke Verona, and the city government organized free distribution of food in the streets to support local residents.
