The local snack that is known under the name «sate» will become a perfect complement to beer. The dish consists of small kebabs on wooden skewers, which can be cooked from pork or lamb. There are also more exotic sorts of sate, for example the kebabs made of turtle meat. When it’s time for a dessert, the choice of dishes here is also very large. Pisang molen remains, probably, the most favorite dish of the locals and visitors. The dish is made of small slices of sweet bananas that are baked in thin dough. It should be noted that this dessert is quite hearty and nutritious, therefore, it can be considered a separate dish. The local chefs use such fruits as pineapples, mangoes and coconuts to prepare a lot of interesting salads. Fruit are added to fruit cakes and milkshakes, so even those visitors, who follow a strict diet, are free to please themselves with a delicious and light dessert.
