From the sights of this place we should definitely mention the Baroque Residence created in 1719-1744. This palace is decorated with amazingly beautiful frescos. Today the palace is used to hold festivals devoted to life and music or Mozart.
Tourists may also like Festung Marienberg on Marienberg Mountain. This citadel was founded in the beginning of the XIII century. It will amaze you with its gardens, parks, fountains, temples, churches, and cathedrals. Here you will also find Mainfraenkisches Museum. The citadel is connected with the city through a bridge that is the oldest one in Wurzburg. The bridge is decorated with statues of saints made in baroque style.
