All tourists are commended to make an excursion to an ancient Muenster Cathedral. Today only a crypt and a basilica remain of that church built in 9-10th centuries. Starting from 1435 the cathedral has been rebuilt and changed. During this renovation several towers and chapels were added to the building. In the 19th century its facades were decorated with amazing carvings illustrating the most important events in the history of the city.
