Briefly about Mannheim, Germany
Mannheim is home to a few inventions, which have in many ways predetermined the shape of today's automobile world. Here, Carl Benz came up with a three-wheeled vehicle powered by a one-cylinder gas-fuelled engine, and this became a prologue to the subsequent growth of automobile industry. This is the city where buses and engines are produced so far.

With its numerous historic buildings and beautiful parks, Mannheim is an attraction for sightseers. The Mannheim Palace (Mannheimer Schloss) and the Barockschloss Castle are the brightest testimonies to the uniqueness of the local architectural thought. Today, the Mannheim Palace is occupied by the University of Mannheim. Other places of interest include the Luisenpark with its beautiful alleys and playgrounds and museums, such as the Kunsthalle fine arts museum, Municipal Art Gallery, Reiss Museum, etc.

Mannheim is a large transportation point, surrounded by a ring of highways and connected to Germany's largest cities, such as Frankfurt, Karlsruhe, Saarbrücken and Nürnberg. Meinheim is also connected to other cities with a high-speed railroad track.
