If you look at this city from high above, you will see its shape reminds of a sun. The center of the city is the location of an old palace – a true masterpiece of baroque architecture art. Numerous streets and boulevards that start from the central square look just like sun rays. There is also Market Square in the center of the city. Karlsruhe Palace is one of the most notable sights in the city. This is a true miniature cope of Versailles Palace. Today the palace is used to hold the exhibition of Baden Museum; the palace is surrounded by a spacious park zone, so tourists usually mix the observation of exhibits with walks on picturesque parks. The park will guide you towards Botanic Garden. Once this place has been nothing but an impenetrable forest; today tourists can easily walk among fantastic trees and enjoy birds singing. Gottesaue palace is located in the eastern part of the city. The palace was built in the 11th century. This is a grandiose building in Renaissance style that is used as a home to musical university.
