Val-d-Isere topics

Val Disere is a modern ski resort, one of the best ones in France. The system of sky slopes here is named Espace Killy in order to honor the Olympics champion Jean-Claude Killy.

Not far away from the resort zone are located two villages – Fornet and Daille. Both villages may be interesting to tourists. Daille is a modern town with tall buildings, life that doesn’t stop even at night and trading centers and restaurants. Several upscale hotels popular among wealthy guests of the resort are also located here. Fornet, on the contrary, is a secluded and silent settlement. The quality of service in Fornet is also premium despite a serious difference in rates comparing Daille. Both villages and the ski zone are connected through a chain of ski lifts, so there’s no difficulty in getting from one part of the resort to another. If you decide to buy a special pass for the time of your rest in Val Disere, you can use the lift for free.
