The city has prepared many surprises for its guests. You will find here numerous places for walks and excursions, so you will certainly not get bored.
The central part of the city is the location of one of its oldest buildings - Church of St Eufemia. It was founded in the early 18th century and this is a wonderful example of the Venetian style. The height of one of its towers estimates 57 meters and the tower is decorated with a beautiful statue of the saint Eufemia, which has always been considered the patroness of the city.
The main square of Rovinj was named in honor of Marshal Tito. You will find this square near the port area. Several notable buildings are located around the square. Town Hall and Palace Kaliffi are among them. The walls of the palace store the exhibition of the museum dedicated to the history of the city; visiting this museum should be a mandatory point of any excursion program.
