The old part of the city is represented by Gastown. The buildings in this region were created by first settlers. If you manage to visit Vancouver from May to September, you will be able to see a unique event – the migration of whales. Whales come so close to the shores of the island that you can see them in details. Stunned tourists usually spend hours standing on the shore and watching dexterous and elegant movements of these giant animals.
