Tourists are not recommended to make walks or trips to remote areas of the city alone. Observing these parts of Brasilia are better together with a guide and with other tourists.
The city is distinguished by a well-developed public transport system. You may only face difficulties in riding a bus early in the morning and during evening rush hour (from about 16:00 to 18:00).
In vast majority of hotels line supply voltage is 220 V. However, it can be 127 V in suburban areas and small family-run hotels. Tourists are recommended to get or purchase all necessary adapters for electrical appliances in advance. By the way, many hotels provide them upon request.
Local people are very responsive and friendly. You can easily ask them for help in any difficult situation.
