Available Facilities and Services

Money and communications: A bank is available in the departures hall. There are also bureaux de change, a post office and ATMs in the public area of the terminal building. Eating and drinking: There is a cafeteria in the public area by the elevator on the second floor offering a good range of dishes and great views of the airfield. There are two bars in the transit area serving hot and cold drinks, alcoholic beverages, hot meals and snacks. Shopping: The Euroshop stores sell a wide range of products, including perfume and cosmetics, liquor, confectionery and tobacco, fashion, accessories, travel equipment and souvenirs. Havanas Humidor offers Cuban cigars. The R-Kiosk in the arrivals hall sells groceries, newspapers, city maps, travel accessories and much more. Luggage: The lost and found services (tel: 640 1124 or 605 8313) are located in the arrivals hall. Luggage lockers can be found in the departures hall. Contact the information desk to access these. A porter service (tel: 605 8300) is also available. Other facilities: The airport has baby-changing facilities. Conference and Business Facilities: A VIP lounge (tel: 605 8541) with modern office equipment, stationery and Internet access is available. Additionally there are the Lakeside Lounge and the Estonian Air Blue Velvet Lounge for business class travellers where there are work units with free Internet access and fax/printer.

Driving by car from/to Tallinn

From the city centre take the Tallinn-Tartu motorway (Tartu mantee) towards the southeast and follow signs to the airport.

Public Transportation from/to Tallinn

Road: Bus: The airport is served by public buses. Bus 2 runs every 30 minutes during the day. The bus stop at the airport is located in front of the departure hall. The downtown bus stop is located on the A Laikmaaa street, next to Viru Keskus. Taxi: The taxi stand is located in front of the arrivals hall. Taxi companies serving the airport include Tulika Taxi (tel: 612 0000) and Linna Taxi (tel: 6442 442).

Due to the saved city walls and special atmosphere of the Old Town Tallinn looks just like a medieval open-aired museum. On the Toompea Hill in the ancient Toopmea take place a lot of old building, surrounded by narrow streets. According to UNESCO, the center of Tallinn is in the best condition of all the European medieval centers. The Tallinn city wall is still almost untouched. Thanks to the small size of the city, you'll manage to visit all the important sights during one day.
